you say you ordered the satin hands set because you ''felt bad'' after you did the whole facial thing. Cancel the order, she insists on meeting with you so she can work on you to get you to sign up as a ''beauty consultant'' then pressure you intensely to order as expensive amount of inventory as possible.

would at least be $600 but their ideal dream is that you order the $4000+ package.

Mary kay makes its money by selling to the consultants, they don't even bother tracking sales to actual consumers cause there aren't many. Pyramid schemes don't have a product at all so mary kay dreamed up makeup so it is offically not one, but IT IS

it's not a business, mary kay is a pyramid scheme that merely has makeup as a product. the purpose of mary kay is to have consultants recruit more people so that the new member will be pressured to buy $4000+ inventory packages that are useless cause no one wants to buy mary kay makeup.

Mary kay doesn't even keep records of how much the ''consultants'' sell to customers cause the purpose is to get as much money out of the new member and then have more new members brought in, over and over. pinktruth.com

I have used mk products for over 10 years now. My consultant Holli Gold has been pretty good in the past about getting products in quickly as she never has any in stock it seems. However I have ALWAYS had to pick my products up at HER house that she left on the porch....

Anytime you have any kind of issues that you cannot get resolved you can always call the corporate office. You also have the choice to look for another consultant if you are not satisfied with their service.

When you look for a consultant on the website any name that comes up is because she is placing consistent orders and more than likely she is carrying inventory.

If you find another consultant you can also ask her if she does have inventory. Save your receipts incase you don't get your refund and have to have corporate refund you the difference or the full refund

Mary Kay - Tricked
I recently had a bad experience with Mary Kay. I won a drawing for a free one hour facial! The prize was for a 1 hour pampering facial & one on one beauty consultation, & free samples. So I made an appt. with the beauty consultant for my facial. I was really looking...

I have been tricked a couple times by consultants recently. I have been sick for a year and lived a very lonely life compared to what it used to be.

I’m young and once had an awesome life. I was at target with my husband and son on a very rare outing and a lady started chatting with me. I thought she was so nice and genuinely want to be my friend. she pretended to have things in common with me.

Then she said she was having a girls night with some women that weekend and asked me if I wanted to go. I said of course thinking I would really love to make some friends and just hang out with some other women. I’m thinking maybe we’re going to have dinner and drinks or something but I arrive...and its at this conference center so I go in now having no idea what to expect and find out It’s A MARY KAY PARTY basically trying to sell me crap and the lady who pretended to befriend me wasn’t even there. All the other women looked as confused as I did.

Seriously the rudest sales tactic I’ve ever experienced but now I have heard from my other female friends that the same things have happened to them with other Mary Kay ladies. Change your tactics because like seriously?

You’re so desperate you’re having to trick women into going to these things? Seriously infuriated me.

There is a lot of trickery and dishonesties that occur within the Mary Kay Cult. I know this from my personal experience which very much resembles yours.

Ones you sign up with Mary Kay, you become their puppet, making money primarily for corporate, not yourself. It is such a huge scam!

Mary Kay is in the business of selling inventory. Not in the business of helping women. Selling a seasonal lipstick branded as supportive of breast cancer research doesn't make you a great company. What I dislike is that they penalize consultants for selling via social...

not sure what you are talking about. i do MK part time, and you can totally sell on your facebook.

if you are offering a special, like a discount, you have to do that in a private fb group, or in a private message, but just regular selling is fine.

i do fb parties all the time for MK. i also use instagram for marketing.
