I Purchased a Acne trial kit of Rs1300/- from Mry kay Rep..i was assured money back garentee if the trial kit doesnt work..i used the trial kit for almost a week and my acne got worse..i stopped using it n gave the product to the rep from whom i had placed an order within 9 days..she told me ill get my refund soon but after a month she told that company is not givin refund but their going to give me exchange i was so annoyd..i agreed for exchange offer and i ordered for some products in exchange now its been almost 3 months am wating for the products ..rep cheated me..its so disgusting..mary kay pls do sumthing about it.

Monetary Loss: $26.

I am a marykay consultant. i apologize for any misinformation that you may have gotten from you rep.

Mary kay DOES offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee. If you break out with acne in one week remember this, it takes 3 weeks for your skin to become used to the product that you are using. if in 3 weeks your skin breaks out then definitely send the product back. Your rep will try to reccommend a different brand of the mary kay brands, there are 6, but all you have to do is is say no.

if they press then politely tell the rep you are done with mary kay and not to contact you again. i wish you all the best!

MK does NOT test on animals number one..

and 2....the acne products (any company) does make it worse b4 it gets better as it has to bring out the impurities and then it clears up..duh

it didn't say every skin product will make your skin worse.

and if someone used a product and had an allergic reaction it is an unfortunate thing BUT it happens rarely.......MK is quality skincare and has been around now almost 50 years...companies do not remain around that long if they are fly by night institutions...

MK stands behind all their products even if you encounter a lousy MK rep or if your rep is no longer active just contact the company and they will ensure your satisfaction.

I have used the products over 12 years and have recently become a rep myself so I can tell you the ins and outs. Every company will unfortunately have bad reps...even girls at the counter in Macy's and Bloomingdale's......but it doesn't diminish the companies products only serves to damage the companies reputation thus making it harder for future reps of that company that encounter these damaged clientele

I too used Mary Kay and by God I broke out in Hives the very first day. Are you going to tell me that thats okay?

It should not get worse before it gets better. Mary Kay is horrible. I was rushed to ER because of my face and the Doctor told me dont ever use it again. Clearly there are chemicals that shouldnt be in there that cause such a severe reaction..

and your going to say that it gets worse before better? What an awesome sales pitch. "Come buy Mary kay your face will look like *** and it may get better but no guarentee. O and I loved hearing that Mary Kay started testing on animals again.

How humane is that?

Hives are a different story than blemishes. Most peoplenwhen changing face care products, especially ones that are to take carw of acne, take about 3 weeks to start showng clear results.

Your breakout was an allergic reaction to one of the ingredients in the product you were using. I am so sorry that happened to you!

Her issue is that she was told she had a money-back guarantee, regardless of how the products did or did not work. It makes no difference if the product was used 1 day or 1 year, Mary Kay has a 100% satisfaction guarantee that states a customer can get their money back or do a product exchange.

I would never deal with such a company that makes their money through the mountains of debt their sales force must incur in order to remain 'active', achieve star consultant status, remain a sales director, etc. This company does nothing to 'enrich women's lives'.

I have been using Mary Kay cosmetics for over 25 years now, and they have never sold such a product... All of the MK reps I know are honest, hard-working women who are genuinely dedicated to helping other women.

You need to contact the company and report this representative. She is obviously misrepresenting their products.

You are being ridiculous, who uses a product for just a week and decides it doesn't work. Even my prescription from my dermatologist takes at least a month before it starts doing anything to my skin, and it ALWAYS makes it worse before making it better.

That is the process of cleaning the skin from below the surface. You are looking for a magic pill to make your skin perfect, and there is nothing out there like that, all medicines, either prescriptions or over the counter must be used for at least a month before you can determine if it is working or not.

It's pretty much common sense when you use ANY product to treat something, esp Acne that it ALWAYS gets worse before it gets better. The product, Mary Kay or ANY brand of product has to have time to work. It has to have time to bring all the *** to the surface before it can clear it up.

You only used it for a week, and complaining?

It sounds to me like your just bitter you didn't get overnight results.

Instead of complaining here, where you are going to get NO results to get your money back or a different product, why don't you just call MK corporate? I had a situation where I never received my product, it took about 1 5 min phone call and MK sent me my money back right away.

I sell Avon but I use Proactiv myself, My acne got way worse before it got better which is normal, your face has to get used to the product. If it is salicylic acid, it will not work!

Apparently your rep. wasn't taught very well.

I am a Mary Kay Rep and the policy is if the client isn't satisfied they get a refund.

The refund comes the consultant not the company itself. Hope this helps..

What you need to do is go marykay.com and see what you can't do about reporting that representative. She is supposed to give you the refund herself and then wait for the company to send her the product replacement.
